Jatyantara parinamah prakrtyapurat: Transformation
of body, sense and mind comes about through the abundant flow of creative
energy.
In this module we will explore the physiology of relaxation, and learn how
and why to use a restorative yoga practice in support of the body’s natural
tendency to renewal. Students will practice and teach supported poses and
understand the role and placement of props. Zo will offer an overview of
Ayurvedic principles, especially with respect to balancing vata dosha, and in
philosophy we will take another, deeper look at Samkhya as the foundation of
both Ayurveda and yoga. Longer, guided meditations will supplement self-directed
practice.
